Unlocatable Self

The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Distorted, was the inspiration for this post.

In our ignorance, we live life based on “snapshots” which become formulas to live (or die) by. Ignorance is suffering.

The very act of communication involves fixed symbols (words) and fixed modes (relationships). Everything in our experience seems so fixed, whereas in fact (we are told), the opposite is true. Seeing without grasping continues to be very elusive. Ah well, back to the cushion. Thanks Bev.
